A slightly different photo series this week. My parents’ neighbours love to dress up their yard for Halloween and Christmas. This is rural, homespun, kitschy fun.
The neighbours Christmas display at night. Bright lights, small town.
Looking a bit different during the day. Some things look better at night.
Starting with Santa pulling the stable of the birth of Jesus with a John Deere tractor.
The centre piece of the stable? An oversized hen, of course.
A cow, two donkeys, two shady looking camels and a midget shepherd.
As my nephew sang, “…had a red-tape nose.” No expense spared here!
A bath-salted elf.
A gingerbread house with family. No Hansel, Gretel or Witch.
And finally… a horny white rabbit apparently raping a candy cane.
Merry Christmas to all!
