Friday’s Photo of the Week (Raspberry Raindrop)

A raindrop dangles from a young raspberry.

A departure for me as I rarely zoom in on flora and capture them in macro detail, usually it’s a scenic view of a mountain-scape or skyline or ocean-front vista. A couple of years ago my Grandmother died and with her passing we had to sell her 10-acre piece of property, but we were able to liberate some raspberry vines from the yard and transplant them to my parents’ front lawn.

Here a raindrop hangs from an immature berry. Still waiting for the summer sun to bless it and blush it with a deep red rasp.
